Feeding Calculator
How much should your dog or cat eat?
This calculator will give you an approximation of your pet’s daily food requirements. Be sure to consider other variables such as metabolism, breed, activity level, present body fat and most importantly if combining raw with kibble. Smaller breeds tend to eat more in relation to their body size, while the larger breeds tend to eat less.
Though many pets enjoy overeating, don’t let them sway you. You should be able to feel a light covering of flesh over your pet’s ribs. Contact one of our professionals with any questions you may have about meal planning.
Always supervise your pets when they are enjoying their bones, and treats. If your pet is a gulper, ensure the bone is large enough that swallowing whole is impossible and always monitor the amount of bone consumed. Consuming too much bone can lead to constipation.
